FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR - August 17th-20th [2026]

This POST-approved course certifies officers to become firearms instructors for their agency. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively manage a firing line, as well as advanced firearms training techniques to share with fellow officers. The course covers both pistol and shotgun instruction.

Duration: This is a 40-hour course taught in four 10-hour days
Time: 0800-1900 hours
Prerequisites: Basic Shooting Knowledge & Range Experience
